We address special thanks to the Warsaw Book Fair's Guest of Honour - Germany. Thanks to the meetings with Herta Müller, Charlotte Link and 10 other German authors the Polish audience has had the opportunity to take a closer look at the diversity of the German literature and culture. The 220 m German stand was a place of presentation of over 800 titles from 66 publishers and institutions.
Owing to the registration system, kindergarten, primary and secondary school groups could book participation in selected events. On Thursday and Friday alone, they were attended by 9 000 participants from more than 300 schools, kindergartens and other didactic institutions.
